WebDec 11, 2013 · I’ve found this feature kind of handy. It doesn’t seem to have much to do with the clutch, more with the brakes. When the Jeep is completely stopped on an incline the hill hold assist prevents the Jeep from rolling backwards. I’ve been driving a stick for a long time.
